Si is an experienced teacher, musician and performer who has taught in schools, colleges and privately in groups as well as 1-1 private sessions.
Lessons are designed around you and focus on practical skills as well as learning the songs and skills you enjoy.

Si has taught all ages and can provide a Police Check/DBS check. He currently teaches at SNS school in Hackney, online and also privately at his studio in South East London.
He has previously taught in institutions around London, as well as various music school in Vancouver, Canada. He has also ran specialist workshops for guitarist and bands often concluding with a concert or recording session.

I aim to to give my students the relevant knowledge and useful tools to achieve their goals, to gain confidence and enjoy playing music. I teach a mixture of guitar techniques, applicable theory using sheets/videos and apply it to your playing.
My teaching method is informed by years of playing and teaching over 200 students privately and in many different music schools and institutions. I adapt to a wide variety of styles and musical tastes, working with students looking to write and perform their own music, play guitar solos or join in with jam sessions.
